As we are all well aware, hurricanes Gustav and Ike left a path of destruction as they moved through the Caribbean.  We have felt moved to action as we see the thousands of people suffering.

The Archdiocese of Miami, in which all our members serve, has strong community ties with Cuba and Haiti.  For that reason, we decided to focus our efforts in these two islands.

All the proceeds will be donated to the Daughters of Charity of St. Vincent de Paul.  They have a long track record of service to these two countries and have been collecting even more food and supplies after this tragedy.  Our donation will help with financial help to ship out the containers that our local community has helped fill out.
